making contact online

The same rules as for your profile apply when you contact a girl - or, even better, when she contacts you!
(because your profile was so interesting and different from the others!)

Don't write stuff like:

I read your profile and i think we have very much in common, and your eyes / hair / legs / face are/is really beautiful / you are so beautiful ........

If she has a picture posted and she is good-looking, she will receive hundreds of this emails every day!

And when you are not looking like Brad Pitt yourself (and you probably aren't, or why do you read this page?), your email needs to stand out from all of this other emails! If she has noticed your profile and she has initiated contact, then it is because your profile is different and she got interested.

Keep her interested and don't mess it up with a reply like this:

Hi xxxxxx,
many, many thanks for your message! I am so happy you decided to write me, and i think you are the most beautiful girl on this singles-site, and i guess you are a very nice person as well! I feel already in love with you.

She contacted you because your profile is different! So your reply must be different as well! Don't become all romantic yet - the first step is done, but now you must keep her interested!

How to do that?

Avoid appearing needy. Don't tell her you love her and can't live without her - you don't even know her yet!

Read her profile carefully! You will find something in her profile to follow up in a funny way. That shows that you actually read her message instead of just staring at her picture, and it shows her that you are not already hers (so she can make another notch in her bedpost and dump you before you even met)!

She may mention in her profile she likes to play basketball for example, and also list basketball as her hobby ....
